Pugh Postcards of Prince Edward Island

893 3

A brief History of Pugh Manufacturing Company’s postcard activities can be found on the Toronto Postcard Club web site here.

Pugh’s Prince Edward Island cards cover a number of communities but are concentrated on Charlottetown.  One feature of the Pugh cards is that they carry a coded number of the format XXX-XX.  For example one series of cards with the initial number 898 is composed of Charlottetown images.

Gaps in the known numbers suggest that cards were produced but have not yet been identified.  Any information about cards not listed in this inventory would be welcomed by the author.
